Relocating to Clarksville and Middle Tennessee

Choosing where to live and buying from a distance, with someone who has been the one relocating.

I've been the one relocating

When my husband and I moved to Tennessee, we hired an agent to help us buy. She wouldn't leave Clarksville to show us homes, so we ended up finding our own, and once we were under contract we could hardly get her on the phone. We felt lost. That experience is why I became an agent, and it's why nobody relocating with me gets left guessing.

Relocating is hard because you're choosing a place you don't know yet. The house matters, but where it sits matters more: your drive, your budget, your yard and how close you want to be to shopping and work.

Choosing where to live

There isn't one version of Clarksville. There are older homes with mature trees close to town, established brick neighborhoods, newer subdivisions and homes farther out with real land. Around it, Middle Tennessee runs from Davidson County and Nashville to smaller counties like Cheatham and Dickson, and across the line into southern Kentucky.

We'll start with what matters to you, then narrow down the places that fit. Compared with Nashville, the Clarksville area can give you more house and yard for your budget, with fewer big-city conveniences. Compared with a small town, you'll have more options, and more traffic. I'll help you weigh those honestly.

If you'll commute, test the drive at the hours you'll actually travel. I'll never promise you the same drive time every day.

Buying from a distance

Many of the buyers I work with start the process from another state. We can do the consultation, the loan conversation and the search planning before you arrive, so the time you spend here is focused on homes worth seeing.

For a lot of my out-of-state buyers, I go to the houses myself and film a video walk-through. I upload it to my YouTube channel and send you the link, so you can walk through the house with me, room by room, before you ever get on a plane. It's the closest thing to being there, and it means the homes you fly in to see are already the ones worth seeing.

If you're building new, I make weekly trips to the job site and send photos so you can see progress from wherever you are. And the whole way through, you'll hear from me with what's happening and what's next.

“We moved from a different state, and Keri did video walk throughs of homes (when we couldn't be there). We had countless questions, and she patiently answered or found answers to them all.”

“We moved from out of state and Keri was our choice to represent us, protect our interests and provide us with valuable local knowledge. WE COULD NOT HAVE MADE A BETTER CHOICE!”
